White is a color that a lot of people are excited to have especially for a smartphone that looks as good as the Lumia 800. For example, Apple had its fair share of successes with a white iPhone 4 which was in a way, limited in numbers but nevertheless managed to take off. Nokia is also releasing a white Lumia 800 and it is definitely looking spectacular although there isn’t much to be seen due to its huge black glass screen covering most of the front part of the phone.
Besides the difference in the color scheme, there isn’t any other difference internal wise. It is still using the same AMOLED screen available in other versions of the Lumia 800. The processor is powered by a single-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor and has 512MB worth of RAM. In addition to that, it has an 8MP camera and 16GB worth of internal storage although no microSD extension slot is available for this device. Like all Nokia devices, it is powered by Windows Phone 7.5.
This version of the device isn’t out worldwide yet but it is getting there. The first few countries that are getting the white Lumia 800 are UK, Germany, France, Italy and a few other European countries although that list will soon grow to parts of Asia and the Americas. The price of it would definitely be the same with the same device of other colors although this color scheme might be the favourite of many. Is the Nokia Lumia 800 worth the purchase?
If you need a phone replacement as soon as possible, then the phone might be worth to get but if you can wait for the Lumia 900, then it is highly recommended to wait for it as it has a better spec as compared with this device.
